I was worried somewhat about how this would go, but thought if I have come this far in the training I might as well see what it's done so far. I started my run early evening and knew that at some point I would be running in the dark. I find that I run well when the moon is out. Maybe because I am naturally a night person? Hmmm.
The paces were pretty good and I feel like I have a really good base right now. I am looking forward to the progress I will be making in the upcoming weeks!
My only complaint about this workout is that my right heel is starting to give me problems. This is nothing new, but worth taking care of this early in the season. I will be icing my foot as I fall asleep tonight. Hopefully I will sleep well with an ice pack strapped to my foot. Now is not the time for injuries.
