
Tyler and I went out for a run at the same time, even though we run drastically different paces. Our runs took us in the same general direction but at very different speeds. My workout was about 45 minutes and I covered 4.25 miles and Tyler ran 5 miles in just over 40 minutes so...... You could say that we are different runners. He is training for his third Boston Marathon while I am training for my third and fourth super sprint triathlon. Our training plans reflect our different goals and there's nothing wrong with that! I have raced two marathons and I am finding that triathlon training is more exciting (and exhausting) because it is training for three sports instead of one. Thank goodness I have a training plan or I would have no idea what I am doing.
